Ngāti Tama ki Te Waipounamu Trust staff and Trustees are responding to your needs. We have launched a dedicated online app where whānau can seek support and apply for COVID-19 specific grants.
Our priority is to ensure we protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our whānau, with a particular focus on those who are most vulnerable.
All registered Ngāti Tama iwi members can apply for:
- a $100 COVID-19 Immediate relief payment
- extra financial help for whānau who are really stuck due to loss of work and income as a result of COVID-19
- a 2020 Influenza flu shot subsidy; and
- access to additional information
You can also apply for these by calling us on 0800 8262 494 Monday to Friday from 10am-3pm.
If a staff member has contacted you in the past week, your banking information may already be on file. If your details have changed, please update them.
To login to the Ngāti Tama Whānau App:
- Go to the “Ngāti Tama Whānau App
- In the login screen enter your email address (only registered iwi members can access the app)
- a unique pin number will be emailed to you
- Enter the pin and you are in
- A new pin will be needed each time you access the app to keep your information secure
To log out click the three lines in the top left corner of the app
How to apply for grants and help:
- Select the support you need under the “My Account” Tab
- click “Apply Now”
- complete all the fields; and
- select submit
