Ngāti Tama ki Te Tau Ihu Survey 2019/2020

The Ngāti Tama ki Te Tau Ihu Strategic plan 2015 is due to expire in 2020, and a new Plan needs to be created to guide the Trust for future decision making around Education and Te Reo me Ōna Tikanga.

In October staff engaged with whānau around the motu and went to Tāmaki, Taranaki, Porirua, Ōtautahi and Whakatū and heard whānau challenges, gaps, goals and their aspirations. We now ask our whānau who didn’t attend one of those hui for input.

We want to better understand whānau experiences, aspirations, and the challenges they face with Education and Te Reo me Ōna Tikanga. Now we invite our iwi members to share their thoughts and ideas by completing our survey.

This survey is a practical and valuable way for iwi members to contribute to the future direction of the iwi and ensures that future plans will meet the needs of whānau.
