Te Mana Kuratahi is the Aotearoa National Primary Schools Kapa Haka Competitions, hosted biennially by one of the 17 affiliated regions.

This year Te Mana Kuratahi will be hosted by Te Tauihu o te Waka in sunny Whakatū/Nelson. This is the first time the rohe has hosted the event and the first time it has been hosted in Te Waipounamu.

49 kapa from 16 regionals around Aotearoa will battle it out for top honours. The four-day event will see the crème de la crème of  Primary Schools Kapa Haka take to the stage.

There are 3 sessions each day, please ensure you purchase the correct day and session for the performances you wish to see. If you wish to attend more than one session in a day you must purchase 1x ticket to each session, as the arena will be cleared at the conclusion of each session and the tickets will be scanned upon entry to each session.

– Morning session (9:45am start)

– Midday session (12:35pm approx start)

– Afternoon session (3pm approx start)
