SUMMARY:He Wānanga Tā Moko ki Te Tauihu
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to call for expression of interests to participate in a two-day wānanga tāmoko\, hosted in collaboration by Ngāti Tama\, Wakatū Incorporation and NRAIT at Te Āwhina marae. \nThis wānanga is about coming together to engage in whakawhanaungatanga\, reo\, tikanga and whakaaro around tāmoko lead by tāmoko practitioners\, Que Bidois (Te Ati Awa\, Ngati Toa\, Ngati Ranginui) and Hemi Sundgren (Te Ātiawa ki Whakarongotai\, Ngāti Toa\, Ngāti Mutunga\, Ngāti Raukawa). There is also the opportunity for whānau to receive moko by Que over the weekend at the expense of the participant. This wānanga is inclusive and welcomes whānau with an interest in understanding or practising tāmoko. \nNgā rā: 9am 10 September -7pm 11 September\nUtu: Kore (free)\, travel subsidy grant is available for eligible registered whānau\nKei hea: Te Āwhina Marae\, Motueka \nTo attend this wānanga\, we ask that you make the commitment to stay for the duration of the kaupapa.
