NTWT Trustee Elections 2024
Nominations need to be received at the Trust office by 5pm Wed 30 October 2024
At our next Hui-ā-tau on the 8th of December, three of our existing trustees will conclude their current three-year terms. They are Butch Little and Andrew Stephens (rohe trustees), and Kerensa Johnston (general trustee). All three are eligible for and seeking re-election.
In accordance with the Ngāti Tama ki Te Waipounamu Trust Deed, we are calling for nominations for three trustee positions. This includes two rohe trustees who must reside within the Ngāti Tama ki Te Tauihu rohe to be eligible, and one general trustee who may reside outside of Te Tauihu. Only registered whānau members over 18 years old and who reside in Aotearoa are eligible for nomination.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate skills, knowledge, experience, or achievements in one or more of the following areas: te reo Māori; tikanga Māori; governance experience; business, financial or legal skills; community service; and/or academic achievements.
Nominations need to be received at the Trust office before 5pm Wednesday 30 October 2024.
