Ngāti Tama will be hosting Te Tauihu Karakia THIS Sunday. We welcome our whānau to join and share this time with us.

Karakia format: 

  1. 6.45pm – join the Tama whānau in preparation to welcome the other iwi and wider community.👋
  1. 7.00pm – Grant will open the proceedings with a mihi and explain the format for the night and then offer an opening karakia.🕖
  1. 7.05pm – Mohua whānau – Aunty Mairangi, Anne Harvey, Tāria, Syd (and any others who may wish to contribute)🌞
  1. 7.10pm – Motueka whānau – Larry, Joy, Renee (and any others..) 🥰
  1. 7.15pm – Nelson whānau – Unc. Andy and Aunty Rāmari, Aunty Jane, Unc. Harvey, Barney (and others..) 🙏
  1. 7.20pm – Wider community / Te Wairau / Waitohi 💥
  1. 7.25pm – Kate will offer the closing karakia & everyone can join in the waiata – ‘Whakataka Te Hau.. Those of us who are contributing may like to do this at the beginning with Grant or the end before Kate concludes.
  1. 7.30pm – Pānui – any notices  🗣
