Te Tauihu o te Waka a Māui māori Cultural Council invites you to our next major event – Te Tauihu ki te Hoe!

This event is a celebration of kapa haka excellence in our region with kapa of all ages showcasing the best that our rohe has to offer. Kapa haka of all ages will grace the stage including regional winners Kura Tai Waka and te Pītau Whakarei.

This event also includes the secondary schools national qualifier, Taku Kara Tipuna. Secondary schools kapa haka will battle it out to see who will represent us at next year’s Ngā Kapa Haka Kura Tuarua in Auckland.

Come along to Trafalgar Centre in Nelson on August the 7th and experience an extravaganza of local talent!
